The MSY North Terminal project is the largest capital project undertaken in New Orleans in recent history. It’s 972,000 square foot facility includes three concourses and 35 gates. Frischhertz joint ventured with ERMCO, an Electric Roundtable peer group member from Indianapolis, on the new construction. The project also includes a 17-lane consolidated security checkpoint for TSA, a 2,190 space short term parking garage, a 685 space surface parking lot, a taxi lot, the facility’s associated taxiways, all jet bridges and jetways, roadway entry lighting, and emergency generators. Systems included security, fire alarm, paging, voice, data, and EVIDS signage.
